Mission Statement
The Foundation for Judicial Reform is dedicated to ensuring that our Judicial Branch remains true to the principles enshrined in the Constitution, the cornerstone of our nation’s identity and governance.
Driven by a commitment to uphold justice, transparency, and accountability, we seek to identify necessary reforms and advocate thoughtfully for changes that strengthen the balance of power among the three branches of government.
After more than two centuries of American history, we believe it is vital to engage in a meaningful national conversation about how effectively the system of checks and balances has served our democracy and how it can be improved for future generations.
Guided by respect for our founding values and a vision for a resilient judicial system, we strive to foster informed dialogue, inspire responsible action, and contribute to a judiciary that truly reflects the spirit and letter of the Constitution.

Should Non-Attorney Court Clerks Decide Legal Cases?
We are supporting a Supreme Court petition that exposes that 6th Circuit Appeals Court clerks are deciding cases instead of the judges appointed by Congress
In the 6th circuit, court clerks, who are not even attorneys, are writing orders that the law says can only be written by Article III judges. All attempts to report this illegal behavior to the proper authorities were ignored, so this Supreme Court petition might be our last path to correcting this extreme violation of the law. Please visit the Supreme Court to read the petition.

Meet Our Founder
Patent & Constitutional Law Attorney, Scientist, USAF Veteran
Our Founder and Lead Attorney, Van Irion, has been practicing law for over 21 years before the Supreme Court of the State of Tennessee, the U.S. Supreme Court, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, all federal Districts of Tennessee, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Attorney Irion is a former candidate for Congress for Tennessee’s 3rd Congressional District where he was endorsed by former Congressman Dr. Ron Paul. He has appeared on Fox News with Dana Perino, Greta Van Sustren, and Judge Andrew Napolitano. Prior to his career as an attorney, Irion co-authored multiple published and peer-reviewed medical research papers in the field of gene therapy. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where we served honorably as an Air Traffic Controller.
All the blessings this country enjoys derive from the rule of law established in our Constitution. The system of law we inherited allows individuals to pursue their dreams, knowing their life and liberty cannot be taken without due process. This has lead to unprecedented prosperity in the history of human civilizations. With the Foundation for Judicial Reform, I will strive to secure the rights our founders established more than 200 years ago.
